He is survived by: his wife Pat Armstrong; his children, Eric Armstrong (Jennifer), Kimberly Collier (Tim) and Melissa Bocanegra (Jaun); his stepson Michael Sims (Lorie); his grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Noah, Nathan Collier, Devon, Shelby Armstrong, Alexus Smith and Zane Parsley; and his siblings, Larry L. Armstrong (Judy) and Beatrice Holsapple (Dave). He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
