With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Thornburg of Greenwood, Indiana, who passed away on August 7, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur Thornburg and Lunette Thornburg (Bird); his daughter Faith of Atlanta, GA; his stepson Jason (Indianapolis); his grandchildren, Cassi (Indianapolis), Corey (Indianapolis) and Kai of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings, Tom Thornburg (Hawaii), Tillie Emmons of Elkhart, IN, Pat Odell of Muncie, IN, Marilyn Seeds of Pataskala, OH, Eugene, Jay and Roselyn Thornburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Riley Children's Hospital in the St. Jude Network or AMVETS National Service Foundation.
