As Laurie Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Laurie Ann. Though Laurie Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Ruling and Shirley Ruling; and her sister Bonnie Ruling. She is survived by: her husband Martin Ryan of Greenwood; her children, Amy O'Brien (Derek) and Matthew Ryan (Monique); and her grandchildren, Paisley and Landon O'Brien of Greenwood.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel (2433 E Main St, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Parish (5353 McFarland Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society in her honor.
