She was predeceased by: her parents, James John McHugh and Hilda Melbye; her stepfather Robert Melbye; and her husband William Nichols. She is survived by: her sister Marie Johnson (Terry); her nephew Matthew Johnson (Jenna); and her great-nieces, Remi, Maddie and Mikayla. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
