He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Young and Anne Young; his sister Janice; and his brother-in-law Don Rohde. He is survived by: his wife Betty Young; his children, Natalie Damron (late Ken) and Craig Young (Kirsten); his grandchildren, Odin, Teague and Neve; his brothers, Jerry Young (Regina) and James Young (Fran); and also Trimmer Young. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
