It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Adolfo Salgado of Crete, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Adolfo Salgado to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Adolfo and Amelia Salgado; and his sisters, Margarita "Margie" Gonzalez and Anita Saucedo (Epifanio). He is survived by: his friend Adolfo; his wife Maria Carolina Salgado; his children, Adolfo Salgado Jr. (Veronica), John Salgado Carrie (Juan Enrique) and Anastacia Salgado Morse (Mark); and his sisters, Mary Ellen Johangani (Jim) and Dolores Melendrez (late Manuel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (3200 E 91st St, Chicago, IL 60617).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses, honoring Adolfo's memory by helping to carry him home with love. Contributions may be directed to his daughter, Anastacia "Stacy" Salgado Morse.
