It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlyne Lewandowski of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlyne Lewandowski to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin H. Leimbach and Mildred T. Leimbach; her spouse Thomas V. Lewandowski; and her close friends, Dorothy, Diane, Sharon and Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Mark T. (Debbie), Steven C, Paul A and Diane J. (John); her grandchildren, David, Matthew (Anna), Amanda (Erik), Andrew and Emily; her great grandchildren, Alena, Alyssa and Ronan; and her brothers, Thomas W. Leimbach (Judy) and Richard E. Leimbach (Linda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (7227 Hohman Ave, Hammond, IN 46324). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
