We bid farewell to Robert A. Cothren (Munster, Indiana), born in Gary, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 22, 2025 at the age of 68. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Cothren and Norma Jean Hampton; and his sister Brenda Kay. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Cothren; his grandchildren, Alex Artemchuck and Daxel Cothren; his daughter Erin Stephens; his grandchildren, Edward and Eleanor Stephens; and his sisters, Donna Hastings (BJ) and Chris Hampton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burns Kish Funeral Homes & Cremations - Munster (8415 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321).
