He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Carney and Pearl Thelma Carney (Smith); his children, Michael Carney and Deborah Carney; his grandchild Jordan Carender; his brother Robert Carney; and his sister-in-law Audrey Carney.
He is survived by : his wife Carolyn L. Carney (Hock) of Hartford City, IN; his daughters, Denise Carender (Carl) of Gas City, IN, Diane Brannon (Sam) of Muncie, IN and Vicki Daugherty (Dan) of Dunkirk, IN; and his grandchildren, Doug (Joletta), Ryan Carney (Amanda) of Munster, IN, Tim Carender (Megan) of Jonesboro, IN, Lindsay Akers (Morrison) of Fortville, IN, Jeremy Brannon of Muncie, IN, Jacey West (Ronnie) of Muncie, IN, Travis Daugherty of Warsaw, IN and Jessica Daugherty of Connersville, IN. He is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
