It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Albert Phillips Jr. (Hartford City, Indiana), who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Albert Phillips, Sr. and Patricia Joan Houseman (Tucker); and his siblings, Mark Phillips, Nickie Hancock, Robyn Cunnington and Patricia Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Sue Phillips (Steinhilber) of Hartford City; his children, Mary S. Seymour (Jeff) of Maryland, Kenneth David "David" Phillips (Rhonda) of Hartford City and Marie E. Ramseyer (Casey) of Marion; his grandchildren, Alexandra Seymour Carroll (Ryan), Adam Seymour, Curtis Smelser, Alisha Yanez (Jesse), Nicole Bailey (Danny), Amanda Phillips, Gabriel Phillips, Alexander Phillips and Nathaniel Ramseyer; and his sisters, Connie Hill (Kenny Coffman) of Albany and Teresa Capper of Hartford City. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Keplinger Funeral Home (509 N High St, Hartford City, IN 47348). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
