She is survived by : her parents, Paul and Karissa Hyatt; her grandparents, Dennis, Lyn Whitesell, Kimberly Hyatt (Dereck Rappuhn) and Dan Hyatt; her great-grandparents, Ted and Kay Waters; her aunts and uncles, Logan Whitesell (Kayla), Doug Hyatt (Courtney Jones), Amy Taylor (Josh) and Helen Whitesell (Connor Gulley); and her cousins, Macy, Isaac, Keegan, Caleb and Kimberlyn. She is also survived by several great-uncles and great-aunts.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity (7321 State Rd 18, Bryant, IN 47326). Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A wake was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Waters Funeral Home (501 W Washington St, Hartford City, IN 47348). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity (7321 State Rd 18, Bryant, IN 47326).

Memorials may be made in Lydia's name to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity or Riley Children's Hospital for the Simon Family Tower NICU, 705 Riley Hospital Drive, SFT NICU W4503 C, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
