She was predeceased by : her parents, Merritt "Kirkie" L. Kirkwood and Gertrude "Gertie" L. Kirkwood (Williams); and her husband Eugene William "Bill" Hess. She is survived by : her children, Daphne Clark (Robert) of Leo, Kyle Hess (Heidi) of Hartford City, Diane Hess (Pam Goebel) of New Castle and Michael Hess (Lara) of Eaton; her grandchildren, Devin Hess, Kendall Hess, Gabbriel Handel (Brandon), Alisha Changet (Matthew), Thomas Hess, Grant Hess and Megan Stanton (Jason); her great grandchildren, Kinslee and Hava; and her brother Tim Kirkwood (Barbara) of Kokomo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
