Sybil M. Neel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sybil M. Neel (Hartford City, Indiana), born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sybil's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sybil has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Bob Neel; her parents, J. Lloyd Sanders and Lelia Maria Sanders; her sister Margaret Hunter; and her granddaughter Jennifer Renee Neel.
She is survived by: her children, Rob Neel (Tammy) of Columbia City, IN, Chris Neel (Sandy) of Fishers, IN and Eva Dell Neel-Hewitt (John) of Aspendale; and her sister Sarah Ann Long of Claremont. She is also survived by grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prairie Lakes Health Campus (9730 Prairie Lakes Blvd E, Noblesville, IN 46060). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Keplinger Funeral Home (509 N High St, Hartford City, IN 47348).
The family has asked that any memorials be made to the Blackford County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 327, Hartford City, IN 47348.
