It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenora H. (Sipes) Owens of Heltonville, Indiana, born in Lynnville, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Hearth and Grace Hearth (Allen); her former life partner James R. Sipes; her daughter Amy Cowden; her grandson Kagan Axsom; and her siblings, Kay Stogdill, Donna Hearth, Lebert Hearth, Ralph Hearth and Kenny Hearth.

She is survived by : her husband Homer "Dan" Owens of Anderson; her children, Andy J. Sipes (Kelly) of Heltonville and Christy L. Axsom of Bedford; her grandchildren, Jamie Hendrickson (Michael), Jesse Sipes, Nicole Johnson (Kyle), Josh Sollman and James David Axsom (Tiffany); her siblings, Bonnie Fountain (Mike) of Norman and Ronnie Hearth (Kathy) of Bedford; and her son-in-law J. D. Cowden. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to I.U. Health Hospice House.
