She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stewart and Mildred Stewart (Phobie); and her grandson Curtis A. Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Vickie M. Baney-McEldowney (Bill) of Fort Wayne, IN and Duane Baney (Ann) of Lexington, OH; and her grandson Vincent Charles Lewis (Charlotte) of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be directed to Humane Fort Wayne (formerly Allen Co. SPCA), Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control, the National Alliance of Mentally Ill (NAMI), or the Wounded Warrior Project.
