Mary Jo Peters Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Peters of Highland, Indiana, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Coleman and Joseph Coleman; and her brother Ernest. She is survived by: her husband Timothy Peters; her children, Joseph (Jackie), Nicholas (Nicole) and Autumn Smith (Brett); her grandchildren, Max, Brynnley, Kane, Cassie, Landon, Mayzee and Nicholas; her siblings, Joy, Teena and Joseph; and her pet Oscar. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lakeshore PAWS in Valparaiso Indiana.
