He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Marie Smith (Tad) of Hoagland; his grandchildren, Ella Ann Smith and Trevor James Smith; his siblings, Ron Saalfrank of Hoagland, Rick Saalfrank (Christy) of Hoagland, Diane Harris (Dave) of Ft. Wayne and Sandy Lee (Kevin) of Monroeville; and his sisters-in-law, Lou Ann Saalfrank of Hoagland, Marcia Saalfrank of Ft. Wayne and Bev Smith of Hoagland.
