With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Daghy of Hobart, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Daghy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Quincy Russell and Naomi Russell; her husband James J. Daghy of Hobart; her siblings, Edward Russell, Charles Russell, Shirley McKinney, Nadine Niloff, Margaret Shaner and Barbara Stephenson; and her sister-in-law Dolares Russell.
She is survived by: her sons, Lee (Stella), Lyle (Sue Claesgens) and Lance (Susan); her grandchildren, Tammy, Kevin (Callie), Jared (Hannah) and Ashlyn; her great grandchildren, Sebastian, Cameron, Mikayla and Rosemary; and her sister-in-law Sherrie Russell Bendes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, all services are private and have been entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for Meals on Wheels, Nurses Scholarship Fund at St. Mary Medical Center, or St. Bridget Church.
