He is survived by: his son Thomas Slane (Shirley) of Valparaiso, IN; his stepdaughter Addonia Kaletta; his grandchildren, Jennifer Berrier and Suzanne Eli (James); his great grandchildren, Kyler, Marlee, Sophia, Claire and Stella; his wife Leota; his siblings, William Slane, Arlie Slane, Dema Slane and Dorothy Beard; and his stepchildren, Thelma Lou Clark, Beth Ann Goff and Michael Hubbell. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
