He is survived by: his children, Gabriel Hernandez of Hobart, IN, Laura Hernandez of Hobart, IN and Olivia Hernandez-Curotto of Hobart, IN; his friend Carol Hernandez-Curotto (Rick); his granddaughter Vanessa Curotto; his siblings, Alfonso Ruano (Concha) of Schererville, IN, Manuel Hernandez (Janine) of Hammond, IN, Joe Hernandez (Connie) of California, Chelo Rangel (Polo) of Gary, IN, Amparo Berumen (late Abel) of California, Lupe (Beto), Sepulveda of Chicago and Andi Araujo (Joe) of Crown Point, IN; and his friend Charlie Nosich.
