He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Guess and Tennie Guess. He is survived by: his wife Alice "Faye" Guess; his daughters, Linda Neace (Larry) and Patty Copeland (Mark); his grandchildren, Brandon Neace (Amanda), Sean Copeland, Angela Schafer (Todd) and Michael Stankich (Amy); his great grandchildren, Payton Copeland, Wyatt Copeland, Kennedy, Blakely and Everly Schafer; his sister Mae Warren; and his close friend Benji.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memory of Omar to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
