He is survived by: his son Robert Higgins, Jr. (Coralee) of Valparaiso; his granddaughters, Hannah Grace Higgins and Morgan Hope Higgins; and his siblings, David Higgins of Hobart, Burke Higgins (Roberta) of Merrillville, Richard Higgins (Diane) of Demotte and Sharon Pastry (George) of Wheatfield.
