He is survived by: his children, Angelique Lambert (Bryon) of Crown Point, Ruben Murillo, III of Florida, Matthew Murillo of Florida, Joseph Murillo of Florida and Bruce Johnson of Crown Point; his parents, Ruben Murillo and Sarah Murillo of Hobart; and his siblings, Tony Murillo of Lake Station, Steven Murillo of Munster, Andrean Murillo of Valparaiso, Celeste Murillo of Valparaiso, Michelle Giorgi of Valparaiso, Mary Phifer of Tennessee and Roseanne Vasquez of La Porte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
