With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Quintanilla (Hobart, Indiana), born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on May 15, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Aguilar and Petra Aguilar; her stepmother Consuelo Aguilar; her mother-in-law Leocadia Quintanilla (Cecilo); her siblings, Delores Aguilar and Antonio Aguilar; her brother-in-law Catarino Quintanilla (Sophia); and also, Mary Navarro (Sotero), Ernestina Hernandez (Trini), Elvira Arroyo (Juan), Marina Engel (Dennis), Isabel Torres, RosaMaria DeLaParra (Raul) and Juan Silvas.
She is survived by: her husband Santos Quintanilla; her children, Rhoda Zapata (Daniel), Luke Quintanilla and Ruth Corle (Shawn); her siblings, Ray Aguilar (Lea) and Ester Bowersox; her grandchildren, Irma Kincaide (Brian), Danny Ray Zapata (Kristy), Jason Corle, Jeffrey Corle (Breanna), Rhoda Renee Soto (Scott) and John Zapata (Marisa); her great grandchildren, Emilleo Haddon-Zapata, Tristan Zapata, Zachary Zapata, Abigail Zapata, Calvin Alcox-Zapata, Aidan Kincaide, Angelina Corle, Addison Corle, Shawn Corle, Eli Kincaide, Alaina Corle, Angelo Soto, Arilenna Zapata, Maddex Corle, Daniella Zapata, Xavier Zapata, Avah Corle, Liam Zapata, Frank Aguilar (Maria) and Ben Flores (Valeria); and also Victoria Perz (Eli). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
