We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Lawrence J. Merkner of Hudson, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Merkner and Josephine Merkner; his wife Helen J. Glader; and his brother-in-law Bob Wojtas (Betty Elkins). He is survived by: his children, Matthew Merkner (Richard Hogue) and Christy Pietrzak (Tom) of New Carlisle; his grandchildren, Holly Merkner (Mike DePriest), David Pietrzak (Sydney), Stephanie (James Parrett) of LaPorte, Zoe Pietrzak of New Carlisle and Karl Merkner (Margaret) of South Bend; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Silas and Jacob; his sister Judy; and his nephew Brian Wojtas. He is also survived by cat friend of nearly 20 years.
