We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2021, at the age of 89, Doris Thompson of Huntington, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin C. Lahr and Helen B. Lahr (Welker); her husband Roger G. Thompson; her daughter Karen D. Jones; her grandson Christopher Pegg; her foster son Terry Joe Bovinet; and her siblings, Larry Wells and Lois Drake.
She is survived by: her stepfather Russell R. Wells; her children, Venus Hay (Dennis) of Huntington, Debora Barth (Frank) of Lagro, Pamela Pegg (Dana) of Marion and Gary Thompson (Mary Ostman) of Huntington; and her grandchildren, Heather Tinsman (Rodney) of Lagro, Daniel Barth (Nicole) of Peru, Joe Thompson (Holly) of Huntington, Phillip Thompson (Julia) of Valdosta, GA, Kevin Thompson (Melissa) of Columbia City, Jessica Brewer (John) of Huntington, Sarah Hofstetter (Peter) of Indianapolis, Aaron Pegg (Michelle) of Gaylord, MI, Laura West (Peter) of Charleston, SC and Rachel Dice (Eric) of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
