She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Nichols and Hazel Nichols (Everett); her husband Hugh W. Smith; and her sister Joyce Nichols. She is survived by: her daughters, Jo Ellen Ehler of Huntington, Mary E. Booth of Huntington and Deborah A. Frummer (Stuart) of Cochecton, NY; her half-sisters, Lequita Spangler of Sun City, AZ, Ellen Ruth Hook of Houston, TX, Janie Nichols of Houston, TX and Donna Nichols of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Anthony Paul Ehler, Katie Jo Van Dyk (Jeff) and Megan Jones Frummer; and her great grandchildren, Emma Munier and Caleb Munier.
