She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Harber and Teresa Harber (Landstoffer); her husband John H. Hinen Sr.; her daughter Sandy Diffenbaugh; her siblings, Thomas Harber, Myra Nichter, Evelyn Hunter and Aggie Gibson; and her daughter-in-law Phyllis Hinen.
She is survived by: her children, John Hinen, Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN, Steven Hinen (Pat) of Fort Wayne, IN, Larry Hinen (Lynn) of Columbia City, IN, Daniel Hinen (Wanda) of Fort Wayne, IN, Edward Hinen (Laura) of Huntington, IN, Mary Bowman (Tim) of Huntington, IN and Ann Boyer (Dennis) of Roanoke, IN; and her sisters, Rita Leeuw of Fort Wayne, IN and Mary Holthaus of Huntington, IN.. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
