He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Ness and Mary Ness (Palmer); his wife Phyllis Reust; his daughter Nancy Ness; and his brothers, Joe Ness and Palmer Ness.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Ness (Renee) of Andrews, IN and Tom Ness (Jackie) of Columbia City, IN; his siblings, Carl Ness (Sondra) of Huntington, IN, Steve Ness (Sherill) of Huntington, IN and Mary Ann Ness; his grandchildren, Andy Ness, Tyler Ness, Kaitlyn Ness and Courtney Ness; and his great grandchild Kerrigan Duncan (Ness).
