It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet S. (Markley) Finton of Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe David and Nellie Markley (Copeland); her husband David A. Finton; her great grandchild Caden Lee Finton; her brothers, Gerald Markley and Danny Markley; and her stepbrother Garl Miles.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Allen of Huntington, Robyn Osborne of Huntington, Shelly Griffin (Ken) of Monroe, MI, Tabitha Hall (Rick) of Huntington, Chris Finton of Huntington and Brian Finton (Nicole) of Huntington; her siblings, Norma Divelbiss of Fort Wayne and Clyde Markley (Pat) of Fort Wayne; and her sister-in-law Barb Markley of Tipp City, OH. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
