He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Wagner and Jean Wagner (Carlson); his daughter Heidi Ann Wagner; and his brother Roger Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wakeland; his daughters, Holly Wagner of Huntington and Heather Wagner of Charleston, SC; and his siblings, Bud Wagner (Rosie) of Lodi, CA, Glenn Wagner (Terri) of Valparaiso, IN, Marilyn White (Paul) of Largo, FL and Bev Carpenter (Todd) of Huntington.

Memorial donations can be made out to Faith Community Church of God Building Fund or to Simon Cancer Center at IU Medical Center, both in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
