With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Overman of Huntington, Indiana, born in Wabash, Indiana, who passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Overman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Overman and Zoe L. Overman (Layden); and his siblings, Joseph Overman and Jean E. Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Thomas G. Overman of Huntington, IN, Stephenie Overman (Stephen Taylor) of Reston, VA, Julie Overman (Bruce Dewar) of Leesburg, VA and Jacqueline Myers (Warren) of Huntington, IN; his grandchildren, Ryan Denbo, Kristen Bischoff (Justin) and Evan Myers (Holly); and his sister Sally B. Hipes of Suwannee, GA.. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
The family respectfully asks that individuals wear a mask for all the services on Wednesday.
