He was predeceased by : his parents, William Mathias and Mary Lucy Zahm (McClanahan); his wife Marie Ann Vachon; his son Robert B. Zahm; his stepmother Mae Eisenhauer-Zahm; his grandson Brandon Zahm; and his brother James F. Zahm.
He is survived by : his children, John W. Zahm, II (Linda) of New Haven, IN, Eric N. Zahm (Kelly) of Huntington, IN, Mark A. Zahm (Jodi) of Roanoke, IN, Philip S. Zahm (Lisa) of Huntington, IN, Christine M. Haskett (Rick) of Huntington, IN, Leslie R. Doty (Steven) of Anderson, IN, Lisa F. Zahm of Huntington, IN. and Denise E. Zahm of Huntington, IN.; and his daughter-in-law Susan Zahm. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
