He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo N. Scheer and Naomi Ruth Scheer (Mygrant); his spouse Dagmar E. Carlson; and his siblings, Paul N. Scheer, Richard V. Scheer and Naomi Jean Walters. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or Huntington County Humane Shelter in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
