She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Howenstine and Ida Howenstine (Richards); her husband Robert G. Walter; and her brother Howard Howenstine. She is survived by: her children, Larry Walter of Castle Rock, CO, Terry Walter (Lucinda) of Roanoke and Dawn Smith (Frank) of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Scott Walter (Erin) of New Haven, Mark Smith of Newton, IA and Danielle Smith of Fort Wayne; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Walter and Leo Walter.
Memorial donations can be made out to Huntington County 4-H or Zion Cemetery Association both in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
