He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beaty and Dorothy Beaty (Smith); and his daughter Christy Lynn Beaty. He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Dawson of Olathe, KS and Mandy Beaty of Fort Wayne; and his grandchildren, Chandler Beaty, Eben Dawson and Averyana Dawson.
