She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Merckx and Janet Merckx (Stogdill); and her siblings, DeWayne Merckx and Karen Martin. She is survived by: her sister Diane Smith; her sister-in-law Mary Merckx; her cousins, Natily Abdish, Anita Roberts, Jean Mettler, Ellen Jo and Marjorie Stump; and her sibling's children, Shelly Dickerson, Tina Carnal, Patty Martin, Betty Brockhouse, Jerry Martin, Danny Martin, Peter Merckx, Mike Merckx and Gwen Bookwater. She is also survived by 20 Great-nieces and nephews and 18 great-great-nieces and nephews.
