She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Woods and Freida Woods (Purcell); her stepchildren, Larry Allen Kelsey, William Carr, Charlotte Paulus and Viola Moore; and her grandson Alex Rice.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Kenny Goodman of Waynesville, NC, Kevin Goodnight (Linda), Kathleen A. Smith, Karin S. Fulkerson (Tom), Karol M. Bonine (Michael) and Kelly C. Bates (Tony Davis); her stepchildren, Charles L. Kelsey (Vicki), Cary D. Kelsey (Betty), Michael Carr, Randel Carr, Shirley M. Fox (Charles), Mary S. Riccius (Dan), Sharon K. Lee and Amy L. Blake (Bob); and her siblings, Bud Fisher of The Villages, FL, Sandra J. DeMoss and Cheryl A. Thompson (Ross). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren.
