It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Bowers Sr. (Huntington, Indiana), who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman H. Bowers and Macy M. Bowers (Newcomb); his wife Janet J. Gray; his siblings, William H. Bowers, Harold S. Bowers, Paul D. Bowers, Vivian L. Szalkowski, Marian S. Ontiveros and Carolyn R. Szalkowski; and his half-brother Russell D. Ellet.
He is survived by: his children, Robert W. Bowers, Jr. (Marsha) of Huntington, Rick W. Bowers (Kathy) of Huntington, Russ W. Bowers of Huntington, Rod W. Bowers (Alisa) of Huntington and Diana S. Messina (David) of Port Charlotte, FL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
