She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Gibson and Ola Gibson (Burnett); her husband Thomas E. Greenwood; her son James B. Shaw; her grandchild Thomas Perry Greenwood; her siblings, Ida Monroe and Curt Gibson; and her half-sister Myrtle Gregory.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Long (Dennis), Greg (Dorothy Greenwood) and Timothy Greenwood (Bobby R. Fields Jr.); and her grandchildren, Lara Washington, Elizabeth Bishop (Todd), Cami Smith (Rob), Matthew Greenwood (Heidi) and Crystal Smith (Steve). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Jude Hospital for Children in her memory.
