He is survived by: his wife Lori Mathis; his son Abel; his brother Tony Mathis; his mother-in-law Tammy Kiddle; his aunt Georgie Weldon (Mathis); his nieces, Amanda Mathis and Gina Vaird; his great-nephew Malakai; and his great-niece Maya. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
