He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Young and Virginia Cook Young. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Young of Indianapolis; his daughters, Jennifer Young Dzwonar (Anthony) of Indianapolis and Jessica Young Brust (Kurt) of Union Mills, IN; his grandchildren, David, Jacob Dzwonar, Elspeth and Adelaide Young Brust; his siblings, Philip Young of Toronto, ON, Jocelyn VanBuskirk of Washington, MO and Patience Young of Palo Alto, CA; and his cousins, Christopher Dermer and Gillian Lloyd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northminster Presbyterian Church (1660 Kessler Blvd E Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46220). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the Presbyterian Church (USA), Southern Poverty Law Center, or Legacy Hospice (Carmel, IN).
