He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Counce and Ridgeway Counce; his brothers, Thomas Suggs, Floyd Suggs and Phillip Suggs; and his son-in-law JaiRone Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Shirlene Counce; his children, David Jr. and Aisha Conway; his children-in-law, Jalana Jackson (Harrison) and Shana Isaac; and his siblings, Elder Hubert Suggs (Kay), Robin Counce (Shirley), Shirley Hendricks, Jacqueline Cunningham (Herman), Cynthia Peete and Michele Cooper (John). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saints Synagogue Church of God in Christ (2605 E Main St, Danville, IL 61832). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
