She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Scott and Altha Mercer Scott; her brother James Scott; and her cousin Betty Mercer. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Tompkins and Shannon Cochran (Scott); her grandsons, Jerimiah Burchfield and Gabriel Cochran; her sibling's children, David Scott, Kevin Scott and Julie Margason; and her husband Giles Tompkins.
