He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carr and Elsie Hampton (Smith); and his spouse Shirley Sue Hampton (Buchanan). He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Palmer (George) of Shelbyville and Michelle Dice of Rushville; his siblings, Betty Hampton, Peggy Hood (Roger), Phyllis Nienstedt and Charles Hampton; and his pet Brindi. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
