He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvel Doane and Mary Jane Harrison; and his sisters, Debbie Adams and Susan Sadler. He is survived by: his wife Janice Doane; his children, Christine Leonard (Corey), Kelly Verel, Brian Doane and Jessica Wagner (Jake); his sisters, Tommie Gribble (Brett), Sherry Doane, Vicki Branch and Judy Freeman; his grandchildren, Dylan, Daniel, Lexi, Layla, Jacob, Raelynn, Jack, Ben, Cameron, Luke and Addie; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Eric and Alessandra.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Matthews Mortuary (690 E 56th St, Brownsburg, IN 46112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
