She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence W. Newans and Lorna Evelyn Prior Newans; and her husband Jimmie G. Parris. She is survived by : her children, Susan Johnson (Patrick), Sheryl Whitaker (John) and Jim Parris (Rebecca); her sister Beverley Wagner; her siblings-in-law, Danny Parris (Sharon) and Myrna Parris; her grandchildren, Steven Johnson (Charlena), Laura Meyers (Ross), Shannon Morgan (Matthew), Andrew Whitaker (Christianna), Ashley Kelley (Jonathan), Brittney Howes, Paul Johnson (Cheyanne), Jacob Parris (Allison), Luke Parris and Maggie Parris; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Lili, Eli, Roman, Leland, Elliott, Vivian, Nora, Charlie, Evelyn, Morgan, Oliver, Madelyn Elaine, Kaia, Elaina and Hudson; her cousins, Marilyn and Barbara; and her friends, Leroy and Donna Butler. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces and many other wonderful friends.
