It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter George Burton Sr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in French Lick, Indiana, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burton and Ophia Burton of French Lick, Indiana; his stepmother Lillian Harmon Burton of French Lick; and his parents-in-law, John and Mary Rector of Kennard, Indiana.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Marguerite Burton (Rector); his children, Marguerite, Catherine, Edith and Walter, Jr. (Maggie); and his brother James H. Burton of Battle Creek. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Walter requested that contributions might be made in the name of his family, to the charity of YOUR choice.
