It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donovan Ross Housel of Jasonville, Indiana, born in Ellettsville, Indiana, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Donovan Douglas "Dick" Housel and Sarah Kathleen "Kathy" Housel (Taylor); his wife Dru; his brothers, Charles Housel and Jim Housel; and his son Chuck Housel.

He is survived by : his children, Donovan Housel of Spencer, IN, Dawn Welch (Gary Murillo) of Jasonville, IN and Dara Carmichael (Tim) of Calvertville, IN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
