He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Elliott; his parents, Eli Elliott and Alice Elliott; and his siblings, James D. Elliott, Thomas Elliott, John Elliott and Nancy Stewart.

He is survived by: his children, Dan Elliott (Mary), Terry Elliott (Elaine Digges), Rick Elliott and Mary Anne Elliott. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
